This app is a really good app if you want to get into singing. Its autotune feature is not the best, but the packs and downloadable content are awesome. It has a decent variety of genres, but the developers need to add jazz, funk, blues, and death metal to expand it even more. Because they provide the background music for you, advanced compositional skills really are not necessary; all you need to be able to do is write a good melody and lyrics. If you want to impose your will more greatly unto the music, you can mix up to eight pre-recorded instruments per song, with each phrase being four bars long and in 4/4 time. The online feature is a social network for amateur musicians, where you can follow musicians, like and comment on their songs, and upload your own songs. As of March 2015, the greatest artist on SongMaker is The Meowerz, and the greatest song on SongMaker is Doctor Who? by Ashley Johns.

This app is the best thing in the world you can have contests post chat song post songs and it is so awesome !!!!one thing i noticed is if you go back to record after you play it to fix the music so it fits your song . Other than that its an amazing app!!!

This app never works and crashes whenever you try to upload fix it please

I used to like this app but every time I open the app, it keeps crashing. Please fix this bug ASAP!

This is truly the best song writing app! A bit complex when firstly using, but later I’m quite satisfied with a lot of sophisticated cool features in it.

It simply blows my mind that this app can do what it does for me as a budding musician. It is truly an amazing app, and even if you think you cannot sing, now you dont have to. You can make songs out of anything you imagine.

Its awesome! I sometimes randomly come up with ideas for songs and this helps me put them out.

Somethings wrong It dont let me share with Facebook it keeps cutting off and freezing used to be one of my favorite apps please fix it

I dont like it. AT ALL! You sing LAME songs, when it says, create songs. But what a HUGE waste of money. I did forget how many you have to pay with. Also in this version I am having issues like I said; one, when Im connected to wifi, it thinks Im not connected to it! two, it basically crashes most of the time when it loads. So, I think you should update this as soon as possible.

I love this app so much, I used it all the time! But for some reason I cant sign in! Itll say I have no Internet connection when I clearly do. Please fix this problem! Thank you.

It makes your voice sound amazing and you get to write your own songs

I really liked an earlier version of the app were it downloaded to your iPhone and that was it. In the later versions you make us go to the Internet every time it loads up a song. Which not only ties you to an Internet connect, but it also slows things down. And now, just as I had feared, it wont connect to the Internet at all! I get a not connected to the Internet error please fix it. This app was awesome

This app cant connect to the Internet anymore. Fix it please, I have spent lots of money on here to produce music. Its a 1 star until the servers are back up, then a straight 5!
